Milano Scala Hotel
4-star eco hotel with chic design
Located in the heart of the Brera district, a few steps from Via Montenapoleone, Duomo and Piazza della Scala, the hotel is housed in a historical 1800 Milanese palazzo and is an example of how reconcile the concept of contemporary hospitality, passion for music, charm and sophistication of a Boutique hotel with the sensitivity to environmental issues.
This boutique hotel, in a renovated 19th-century mansion, is the only one in Milan, and one of the few in Italy, to use a heat-exchanger system to produce energy and therefore does not contribute to city pollution. The hotel also makes use of providers drawing energy exclusively from clean and renewable sources. This combination allows the production of energy with “zero emissions”, i.e. there are no emissions either on a local level (as there is no boiler, not even for sanitary water) or on a global level (as the purchased energy comes from clean sources).
Rooms are furnished in a warm and welcoming atmosphere and refer to the theme of music thanks to giant wall images coming from the Historical Archives of Teatro alla Scala. The location of the rooms calls itself the stage world: most of them overlook, in fact, on an ancient courtyard surrounded by balconies covered with jasmine, as well as the stage of a theater watches the scene. Other rooms, however, have a terrace overlooking the rooftops of Brera and the magnificent Castello Sforzesco.
There is also a beautiful terrace, wellness area, a restaurant and a bar and a great library overlooking the palace's old courtyard.
The Bar
The Lounge Bar Primadonna is a contemporary and eclectic space to enjoy a break from the bustle of the city. There is a selection of cocktails and organic wines. The sky terrace offers a stunning background for a green aperitif.
The Restaurant
La Traviata Restaurant follows a "Green and Glocal philosophy" that aims to enhance local and regional products. Selected ingredients and recipes of the good Italian tradition are elaborated with wisdom and skill from our cuisine making Italian-inspired vegetarian and vegan proposals, a real surprise for the eyes and the palate!
