Bulgari Hotel Hotel
Chic 5-star in a wonderfully renovated 18th-century palace
The hotel is located on a private street between Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, La Scala and the Accademia di Brera, in a tastefully renovated 18th- century Milanese palazzo.
The hotel's 4,000 m2 private garden, a natural extension of the nearby Botanical Garden, is a restorative oasis of serenity and relaxation in the midst of Milan's busy pace. The design features black marble from Zimbabwe, stone from Vicenza and Afyon, accentuated by detailing and furnishings designed by the architectural studio of Citterio & Partners.
The rooms and suites are all extraordinarily luminous, thanks to ample windows looking out onto the beautiful garden or an exclusive Milanese courtyard, thus offering guests an unexpected sense of tranquillity in the centre of Milan. The furnishings and decor create a refined yet welcoming atmosphere, an expression of the constant attention to detail for which Bulgari is famous. Precious materials like teak and oak give each room and suite a feeling of warmth and intimacy.
The hotel also boasts a wonderful spa with a pool lined with pure gold tiles, as well as a full range of treatments and a fitness centre.
The Bar
A generous oval bar in black resin dominates this simple and elegant room, set against a spectacular glass wall that opens onto the serene luminosity of the private garden. A meeting place not only for hotel guests but for in-the-know Milanese, the cocktail hour takes on the flavour of the classic Italian aperitivo, with a wide choice of traditional and invented drinks, including the exclusive Bulgari Cocktail. The bar also offers a fine selection of loose leaf teas and herbal teas. The entire restaurant menu is available from the bar – the same excellent dishes served in a less formal way.
Situated in the secret corner of the garden, the new Dom Perignon Lounge & Raw Bar is hidden by a tall hedge of red beech trees that reveal a cozy lounge, underlined by the unmistakable shield of the Maison. A refined and elegant space that consists of lounge areas dedicated to Aperitivo and dinner. With its informal yet and sophisticated atmosphere, this new location offers the chance to taste the full collection Dom Perignon Champagne from, Blanc Rosé P2 Deuxieme Plénitude, combined with the refined raw creations by Roberto Di Pinto, their Executive Chef. A sommelier will guide every guest in discovering the cuvée or suggest vintage and precious flutes in combination with a special selection of raw food. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 18:30 to 02:30, with exclusive DJ sets each Wednesday and Thursday.
The Restaurant
The simple yet luxurious space of the Bulgari Hotel Milan restaurant is the ideal backdrop for a voluptuous gastronomic journey into the aromas and flavours of Chef Roberto Di Pinto’s cuisine: a creative reinterpretation of the Italian tradition, characterized by harmonies and contrasts, aesthetic research of colours and volumes. The wine list vaunts more than 500 cases of the most carefully selected vintages, as well as a fine selection of champagnes and sparkling wines. Connoisseurs of fine spirits will also find much to choose from.
