1. Innocenti Evasioni Restaurant

A classic and art nouveau decor and a Japanese garden create a relaxing setting for "innocent escapes" at this fusion restaurant which offers tasting menus as well as a la carte.

Located in the northern area of Milan, on a private street, this Michelin-starred restaurant is lead by chefs Eros Picco and Tommaso Arrigoni. Their cuisine keeps an eye on Italian tradition, revisiting and enhancing classical dishes, which you can try in their sleek dining room or the pleasant Zen garden.

It follows the cycle of the seasons with a different menu for each of them, matching the products with the creativity of the chefs, who always offer new ideas to diners. They have a €68 tasting menu, which can be paired with wines, as well as their seasonal à la carte menu.

Open Monday to Saturday from 20:00 to 23:00. Closed on Sundays.

2. Nobu Restaurant

This well-known international food phenomenon has combined with Giorgio Armani and has a restaurant in its store in the Golden Rectangle district. It serves culinary art food with Japanese, South American and Peruvian influences and offers tasting boxes for those who simply cannot chose!

The sophisticated interior has been decorated with a simple elegance that combines the Armani style with traditional Japanese design. Chef Nobu Matsuhisa draws upon his classical training from sushi bars in Tokyo and his travels abroad in Peru, Argentina and around the world to bring a whole new trend in Japanese cuisine, resulting in dishes like Yellowtail with Jalapeno, Tiradito Nobu Style, and Black Cod with Miso.

Open Monday to Sunday from 12:30 to 14:30 (except Sundays) and from 19:30 to 23:00.

3. Iyo Restaurant, Milan - Centre

Owner Claudio Liu opened this restaurant in 2007, and they achieved a Michelin star in 2015 because of the innovation of their Asian menu, devised by chef Michele Biassoni, as well as the spectacular sushi created by master Haruo Ichikawa.

They combine oriental techniques and flavours with the best Italian produce. Specialities include tartare, sushi, noodles, rice, tempura as well as meat and fish

The stylish interiors are very welcoming and allow a look into the kitchen, while the fish counter is in the centre of the room.

Open from 12:30 to 14:30 and from 19:30 to 23:30. Closed on Mondays and on Tuesdays for lunch.

4. Tokuyoshi Restaurant, Milan - Centre

Chef Yoji Tokuyoshi arrived in Italy ten years ago and, after a trip around the world, he opened his restaurant in Milan in 2014 which has since then acquired a Michelin star. He serves the best Italian produce, following the country's traditional cuisine combined with Japanese touches.

The restaurant offers two tasting menus as well as à la carte of what they call 'contaminated Italian cuisine'. Their creative 'Italy vs Japan' menu includes innovative dishes such as risotto with Wagyu beef or Gyotaku mackerel.

Open Wednesday to Saturday from 19:00 to 22:30 and Sunday from 12:30 to 14:30 and 19:00 to 22:30. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

5. Wicky's Wicuisine Seafood Restaurant, Milan - Centre

Chef Wicky Priyan has travelled around the world, especially in Asia, and offers at his restaurant in Milan authentic Japanese cuisine "contaminated" with Mediterranean ingredients and regional Milanese touches.

Recognised as one of the best Japanese restaurants in Milan, here you can order one of their good value sushi specialities, noodles or bento boxes for lunch. For dinner, they offer a chef's tasting menu, as well as carpaccios, sushi, and other signature dishes.

Open Tuesday to Friday from 12:30 to 14:30 and Monday to Saturday from 19:30 to 23:00.
