Enrico Bartolini MUDEC Restaurant, Southwest Milan

2 Michelin stars restaurant and bistro in the Museo delle Culture

featured in Restaurants Updated

Multi-awarded chef Enrico Bartolini has created his contemporary-classic cuisine philosophy, in which the past and the present are respected, creating new and original flavours.

At the new Museo delle Culture, Bartolini has achieved two Michelin stars in just seven months. Opening new frontiers in gastronomy, the chef serves highly creative recipes based on contemporary international trends. Decorated with white wooden furniture and elegant lighting, the restaurant is a very pleasant atmosphere where to enjoy his imaginative dishes.

There are various tasting menus to choose from: the 7-course Be Contemporary, 6-course vegetarian Green Taste and the more traditional 7-course Be Classic. For lunch, you can also have one course with water and coffee for €45.

Open Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 to 14:30 and from 19:30 to 22:30. Mondays from 19:30 to 22:30.

Bertolini also manages the museum's Bistro, offering breakfast, lunch, 'aperitivo' and dinner also following his 'contemporary-classic' philosophy. Traditional dishes with contemporary accents in a relaxed atmosphere. They serve not only a smart lunch and dinner menu, but also pastries and cakes made by master baker Antonino Maresca as well as signature cocktails and wines for 'aperitivo' or after dinner.

Bistro open every day from 07:30 to 23:00.

Visitor comments

  • "The restaurant impresses with stunning interior architecture and design elements. The service is just perfect. Wine recommendation provided fantastic new experience and realistic price. We recommend trying one of the tasting menus... Unforgettable taste journeys." - Trip Advisor
  • " The restaurant is already quite beautiful and sophisticated, even if we were told that some things were still being perfected. The food was fantastic (overseen by the phenomenal Mr. Giacomo). The service impeccable, and friendly. It is in a brand new museum, so not everyone has heard about it… get there before it gets discovered!" - Trip Advisor
