Antica Focacceria San Francesco Restaurant, Milan

Sicilian street food in the centre of Milan

featured in Restaurants Updated

This branch of the ancient Italian street food self-service restaurant offers cheap Sicilian food in the centre of Milan.

Originally founded in 1834 in Palermo, this Sicilian street food chain has two places in Milan. They serve gourmet dishes, healthy and convenient, once sold in small kiosks. Their main specialities are the focaccia schietta, with cheese, and maritata, with veal spleen and cheese, recipes that date back to 1851. They also serve arancini, platters, croquettes and sandwiches, as well as selected wines and typical Sicilian pastries.

Open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 22:00. Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 to 22:30.
